Improved! High Density Push-Back System
The increase in demand for high density storage has sky rocketed in recent months! With the demand, PUSHBACK racking systems have been increasing in popularity.
PUSHBACK systems utilize nesting trolleys, allowing to store pallets in lanes up to 5 pallets deep. This is ideal for storage in cool rooms and areas where space is at a premium. Pallets are gravity-fed to the front of the rack, allowing for easy retrieval. Additional pallets can be added to a lane at any time by simply pushing the first pallet back, and placing the new pallet on a freshly exposed trolley. This system uses one aisle for both picking and deposit, in a FILO stock rotation. Damage to racking is reduced as the forklift never enters the racking, unlike in a drive-in system.
